The relation of the building with the place where it is located is a recurrent argument in our work. To complete, to dialogue, sometimes with distance… but always trying to complete it.
Normally this occurs in floor plan, i.e. marking distances or defining volumes. Here, in the MK house, recently finished, however, it is produced vertically, in height.
A village house, with a defined regulation, therefore known approximately its occupation of soil and its volume, nevertheless offers an extreme singularity. As we rise in height, the vision widens and the landscape appears more and more extraordinary.
Raising the house, this experience appeared, forcing us to rethink the openings in each case.
