The gta Archive at ETH Zurich has received part of the archive and library collection of architect Josep Lluís Mateo.
The donated material is composed of books and writings that gather the theoretical and conceptual production of the architect. Additionally, it includes plans, sketches, models, and other work documents resulting from projects and works between 1980 and 2014.
This donation required extensive prior work of review, conservation, and cataloging, carried out by Cristina Marcos, architect and collaborator at mateoarquitectura.
The GTA Archive at ETH Zurich is considered one of the world’s leading academic architectural archives. It plays a crucial role in the preservation, research, and dissemination of architectural history and theory. This wealth of resources attracts researchers, academics, and students from all over the world, making it an important reference center in the field of architecture. Therefore, it is a pleasure to contribute to the collective knowledge of contemporary architecture.
