New Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona
BONES NOT SKIN
Our project did not seek simply to add an obvious, colo rist skin that would be our of date even before it was put into place. Our project seeks to establish an intelligent, sensible relation with the original building. Our project seeks to address the urban issues of the staium’s large volume. Our project seeks to construct a singular space. Our project believes not in the superficiality of skin but in the depth of the mass, the sculptural volume and the logic of the bones as figurative, solid, moving arguments.
