Obra Oberta exhibition

On November 25, the exhibition Open Work opens at the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya, dedicated to the work of architect Josep Lluís Mateo. Curated by María Figueras and Cristina Marcos (Studio Acto) together with mateoarquitectura, the show invites us to rethink the architectural act as a practice in continuous motion, where the physical and conceptual intertwine through processes, representations, and contexts.
Far from presenting a closed or retrospective narrative, Open Work displays a selection of projects presented freely, without an imposed hierarchy or strict chronology. Nearly twenty works are shown autonomously, each opening multiple interpretive paths—whether through contextual affinities or through different ways of responding to place.
