Redesign for the Zoological Gardens in Vincennes
The project for the redesign of Paris Zoo proposed a layout on three levels of the facility’s activities:
The site as a continuous surface on which the animals and plants present artificial, preserved nature.
A system of tunnels and underground passages that lead to the service areas and technical installations (shelters for the animals, air conditioning, under-floor heating, research, etc.).
The flow of visitors, which moves over this plane at different levels and touches the ground at certain points.
